Pa. stabbing suspect shot, killed by police: report
A man accused of stabbing three people was shot to death by a police officer in Lawrence County Saturday night.
Police were called to West Main Street in Mahoning Township, where investigators say Christopher Rush, 34, stabbed three people, WTAE is reporting.
Police from several departments found the New Castle man had stabbed a 15-year-old boy, a 61-year-old man and a 37-year-old man, WPXI is reporting.
Police say Rush was armed with a “cutting instrument,” and he attacked and injured one of the responding police officers, prompting another officer to shoot and kill him, reports indicate.
The Pennsylvania State Police at New Castle are investigating the police-involved shooting.
