The Las Vegas Review-Journal[1] reports (http://bit.ly/2phlWYg ) 48-year-old Jerry Johnson[2] received a 10 year to life prison sentence Friday. He was accused of sexually assaulting two women at a hotel.

Both women filed charges against Johnson[3] in 2009. Johnson[4]‘s attorneys claimed he had been falsely accused twice. A trial declared Johnson[5] guilty of sexual assault in February, but acquitted him for the other charge.

Prosecutors say DNA evidence collected from one of the cases was used to convict Johnson[6].
